More slanted media news

The Las Vegas Sun is an insert in the Las Vegas Review Journal. It should more appropriately be called a throwaway insert because of its extremely biased reporting. In the Sunday, February 4 edition, is an article entitled “Starting Monday, lawmakers to weigh a wide range of bills”. The article states that “Assemblyman Jerry Claborn, D-Las Vegas, wants a bill authorizing hunters to “kill a certain number of animals “within a lifetime.” Claborn could not be reached by the Sun, but a spokeswoman said there was no further explanation of the idea.”

The article makes it sound like hunters must kill a certain number of animals. This is the furthest thing from the truth. The bill will authorize hunters to “kill only” a certain number of a specific animal in a lifetime. This is just another example of inaccuracy designed to mislead and to distort the actual proposal which has been a specialty of the Las Vegas Sun..
